About

When mage bounty hunters murdered my family, their mistake was leaving me alive.

Ever since that brutal massacre, my hardened heart thrives on revenge.

Until the day I see her.

She is a mage in pursuit of shifters under my protection and my sworn enemy.

From the moment our eyes meet, a connection as dangerous as it is captivating sparks between us, threatening to shatter both of our lives.

She represents the evil I fight against. I should resist her. I can't resist her.

I don't want to resist.

And now we are caught in a flood of forbidden passion neither of us can stem.

Will she take a leap of faith and join me and the shifter's rebel cause I've pulled her into?

Or will she succumb to the allure of the corrupt system she serves? The price on my head will set her up for life...

But what is the real cost of betraying destiny?

We are fated mates, and I will not stop fighting for her until she is mine.

Praise for this book

This book was unexpected and turned out to be a great read. The storyline was captivating and the characters likable. I'll definitely be looking out for more books from this author.
Dire and Aliyah continue this amazing series. True mates know no bounds. Such good plot and twists - full of intrigue, emotional moments, and quality paranormal fighting. Incredibly intense connection between them and their intimacy was super spicy. I couldn’t put this one down.
The blurb had me wanting to read this but the story was better than I had anticipated. When I read a book, I always have this tendency to find a life lesson in it even if it is in the paranormal range. You think bikers, you think trouble and bad. Aliyah was taught shifters are the lowest and need to be kept in control or banished and she never questioned that till a strange shifter came into her sights. One that could also do magic, which should not be possible. As the story progresses we Dire opening her eyes to truths that were hidden and it changes everything. What would you do if your eyes were open to a wrong and to your true mate? This story tells it all and I found myself caught up in wanting these two to find happiness. Well told!
