Bella is an Omni shifter hiding in plain sight. Alex is her next door neighbor who is normal, until she sees a pendant on his keychain that matches hers, maybe he’s not so normal. The storyline tells of their shared past and possible future, with all of supernatural creatures under the threat of eradication. Great characters, good solid storyline, no insta love. Betrayal at every turn and you don’t know until the very end how it will play out. 4✨’s and I can’t wait for the next book.
Shattered Shadows is an action-packed paranormal adventure filled with shifters, mages, and magic of all kinds. Main characters Alex and Bella are each strong and independent people with shadowed pasts and unique gifts. The shared enemy that draws them together is fascinating, and the group of supporting characters that they unite with each bring a fun and different aspect to the story. This is an action-adventure novella with a romantic sub-plot; I would have liked to see a bit more development of the main characters’ relationship with each other. The overarching story line is an intense and fun read, and I’m looking forward to the next book!
Shattered Shadows - Colbie Clarke Bella and Alex are wary of each other when they have to work together to stop the supernatural world from being destroyed. This was an exciting and suspenseful story full of wonderful moments. I really enjoyed this one!
